Over 60 prize winning apprentices, their employers and assessors attended this year’s annual celebration of apprentices at Kendal College as part of National Apprenticeship Week, acknowledging the effort and dedication that apprentices and their employers put into their jobs on a daily basis.
The Awards Evening was hosted by Kelli Horner, Works Based & Corporate Client Manager and assisted by a whole team of Level 3 Business apprentices, who put their project management skills into action. Maximising opportunity for all our apprentices, the guests also enjoyed a fabulous two-course meal, prepared and served by the College’s hospitality apprentices using the outstanding catering and hospitality facilities.
An Inspirational speech was given by past apprentice Stefan Pryor; Project Manager at James Cropper PLC, and current employer of apprentices; Kate Casey and Amanda O’Brien from the Universities of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust who employ significant numbers of apprentices.
